The crown are is kept slightly lifted.  This can easily be done by gently back combining small sections of hair and smoothing over the top with your fingers.  Also, a volumizing hair product can be used at the roots to help with making this area look fuller. She has a little bit of side fringe hair that gently swoops across her eye from a deep side part.
