Sometimes a hair style looks better when it is more natural. Take Paris Hilton for example. Her hair is softly curled and pulled back gently from a side part and smooth crown.
If you try to force deliberate curls and fancy updos or partial updos, you may get a very formal stuffy look.
To create this style, add all over waves using a medium to large barrel curling iron. Leave the hair in the crown area smooth, all the way to ear level.
This is a great way to wear your hair if you are growing out your bangs or long layers in front. Paris has pinned the layers back, just above ear level for a face-opening twist.
